Living Our Call: Faith in Action
Moving from Individual Faith to Shared Mission
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” — 1 Peter 4:10. During October, the Evangelism and Stewardship Committee has prepared activities to help our parish work together and continue being a committed, welcoming community. Our call invites us to take God’s love, mutual care, welcome, and service beyond the parish walls. Evangelism means sharing authentically where we see God at work; stewardship means faithfully using our time, relationships, skills, spaces, and resources in a shared mission.
From Me to We: A Shared Commitment
Evangelism and stewardship find meaningful expression when our faith becomes shared action. Every individual act of service matters, but working together allows us to strengthen our community presence and extend Christ's love beyond our parish doors.
As next steps, we propose strengthening partnerships with community organizations, practicing more active and welcoming hospitality, and inviting our members to contribute not only financially but also through their time, talents, and service.
Together, we hope to discern one strength of our parish that can respond to a need in our surrounding community and identify an achievable community project within the next six months.
To support this commitment, three action circles are proposed: Welcome & Outreach, Community Service, and Resource Stewardship.
This proposal invites us to bring together our gifts, talents, and resources as we discern how to better serve our community and make our faith visible through meaningful action.
November 1, 2026 bulletin — Beyond the Budget: Living from the Overflow. The stewardship campaign invites us to offer our time, talent, and treasure. During November, a Talent Card will be distributed to identify talents that parish members can offer to their community.
The 2027 parish pledge forms will be available during the week following November 1. The deadline to complete the information is November 30, 2026. They include an option for a special pledge toward the renovation project. Pledge boxes will be distributed on the first Sunday in December, December 6, 2026.
The 2027 parish pledge forms are distinct from the Renovation Project special pledge form F36, available in the Renovation section.
